Aquino cites Crossworld as one of the Philippine’s best Manning Agencies

Manila, Philippines – President Benigno Aquino III named Crossworld Marine Services, Inc. as one of the country’s top performing manning and recruitment firms.

Crossworld along with 17 other Manning Agencies received recognitions and awards for excellence in the deployment of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) handed out by the President himself in an event held in Malacanan Palace last March.

The awards given that night were the Presidential Awards of Excellence, Excellence Awards and the Awards for Top Performers.

According to a palace statement, the awards aim to “recognize the consistent excellence performance of private employment and manning agencies licensed by Department of Employment Administration in providing decent and remunerative employment to Overseas Filipino Workers.”

During the event, Aquino thanked the Manning Agencies for a playing critical role in the lives of OFWs as well as upholding their rights in foreign land.

“You are in the frontline of bringing new opportunities that opens the gates for a bright future for Filipino workers,” Aquino said.

“I hope that you will continue your excellent service to our people and continue your unwavering support to the government in able for us to achieve our collective goals,” he added.

Crossworld Marine Services Inc. has been in the industry for more than 25 years. It continues to provide superior crew management services to the shipping industry such as crew requirement definition, recruitment and selection, crew training and Union negotiations with a manned fleet of more than 300 vessels under a large number of distinguished principals.
