Corporate Social Responsibility

Being leaders of the maritime industry of the Phillipines, we recognize our obligation towards the country and grab every opportunity to give back to the community.

• In 2008 we partnered with one if our Principals, Golden Union Shipping of Greece, and built a barracks that can house 150 midshipmen of the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA), at a cost of PHP13M, with long term benefits for the overall improvement of the maritime industry as the driving force behind it.

• In 2013 we raised through our network a sum of 250 k for the victims of typhoon Yolanda

• In 2015, after one of our key stuff was diagnosed with cancer, we jointly took the decision to launch Crossworld Charity Foundation so as to formally invite others to participate in our cause. Our goal is to give smiles and help bring joy to our fellow brothers because : every life deserves a chance.

• This year, a donation was given, to “Bantay Bata” (Children’s Watch), which helps to ensure that the rights and well-being of children are looked after. We raised about USD 16.000 for ABS-CBN Foundation who in turn gives assistance to the families affected by the devastating typhoons that hit the Philippines.

This is only the beginning. We will continue to ensure that, aside from providing quality services to its Principals and seafarers, we will also be aware of the community’s needs as part of our responsibility of being a good corporate citizen.
